Four steps. One coherent structure.
01 — Discovery
We begin by understanding your corporate structure, personal holdings, family context, and what you want preserved. This is not a fact-find for a product; it is the foundation for a structure. We also take stock of the advisors already in place — your accountant, your portfolio manager — because what we design needs to fit what already exists.
02 — Capital Map
We map every asset, liability, and cash flow — retained earnings inside the corporation, personally held assets, insurance coverage, and the eventual estate exposure — into a single picture. Viewed together, tax drag and coverage gaps become visible. So does unused capacity: capital dividend account room, insurance structures that could redirect investment returns, estate mechanisms not yet in place. This is the diagnostic before the design.
03 — Architecture Design
With the full picture in hand, we design a structure that coordinates corporate insurance, estate planning, and tax positioning — in coordination with your tax advisor — while working alongside your portfolio manager on the investment side. Each element is placed deliberately. The goal is capital that shelters from unnecessary tax, funds the estate bill when it comes due, and carries across generations. Products are chosen last, because the right product follows from a clear structure.
04 — Ongoing Review
A structure is not a document filed and forgotten. As your business grows, your family changes, and tax legislation shifts, what was well-positioned can drift out of alignment. We maintain an ongoing relationship — reviewing the structure, staying in contact with your other advisors, and adjusting as needed. What you've built deserves that continuity.
